COVID-19 has turbocharged the transition to green, more sustainable economies. Stakeholders and regulators are increasing their scrutiny over companies’ environmental and social impact and how they are governing themselves. This is affecting shareholder values in real ways, as well as the longer term viability of companies across all industry sectors. New skillsets and mindsets for a very different economy are in demand.
This is a rapidly evolving area with new requirements and regulations continually emerging. It is a matter of “watch this space” to ensure you are ahead of the game.
